Do you realize that as you read this, God is in your midst?
It doesn’t matter where you are, what time you read this or if you are alone or with people. And it doesn’t matter where I am when I write these, what time you this was written, or whether I’m by myself or have company, we are two. Since we are two, God is present. What an awesome God we have. Giving us this gift of time with Him, together. The gift of the internet from which we share this making it three or more. Bet you never thought about that before, that the internet was a blessing with all the ugly you hear about being on it.
God made us to be together. To encourage one another. To support each other. To provide for our community. To be part of our community. To be a community.
Life today makes this challenging, living the transient lives we do, family and friends hundreds of miles away. We’ve lost our sense of community and thus we’re losing our sense of gathering together. We’re making it easy with today’s reasons (excuses) of kids activities and spouses being of a different faith so we choose none. We need to reestablish our self in the communities we are in. Be it a physical neighborhood or an internet blog.
